Responsibilities:

- Participate in the preparation of technical proposals for the definition of the architecture, management, physical and medium access layers of future wired and wireless systems in the relevant standardization bodies
- Participate in the analysis and evaluation of standard proposals and alternatives
- Develop and operate the different models and prototypes that are necessary to support the company work in standard organizations and industrial alliances
- Working closely with the RF, digital baseband, DSP and firmware/software teams to make the bridge between standardization and design teams

Qualifications:

- Electronics/Telecommunication Engineering Master degree. PhD is an asset.
- Strong communication skills and be fluent inwritten and spoken English
- Good knowledge of wired/wireless communications systems (MAC layer, PHY layer or both) (e.g. Wi-Fi, MoCA, G.hn)
- Ability to work closely within cross-functional teams consisting of Communications Systems Engineers, RFIC, ASIC and FW/SW
- Ability to understand the requirements of communication systems
- Python, MATLAB and C/C++ knowledge is desirable. Experience in event-driven Network Simulation tools like NS-3 or OMNET++ is a plus
- BS in Electronics/Communication Engineering or related + 6 years of experience, or MS + 3 years of experience, or Ph.D.
