**Global Category Manager Fungicides**

**You will work with a diverse and international team of Procurement professionals that work in an agile way worldwide. We will support you in your personal growth by jointly defining a tailored career development plan in line with your development goals - and make it happen.**

**You will**:

- Develop and implement global sourcing strategies for Active Ingredients and Intermediates in your area of responsibility - this requires you to assess market requirements, market trends, potential risks and the capabilities of suppliers
- Conclude commercial supply agreements with suppliers and build trustful relationships and networks
- Ensure visibility on essential global sourcing initiatives and drive implementation in close alignment with all relevant colleagues
- Lead and support selected cross-functional projects to increase value creation and supply resilience across Fungicides / Insecticides / Herbicides
- Conduct efficient supplier management and assessment of their capabilities and performance
- Support Make-or-Buy decisions together with Supply Chain by providing alternative third-party options
- Also, you drive implementation of Bayer’s sustainability roadmap in your own portfolio, including identification of opportunities for reducing Bayers’s Greenhouse Gas footprint

**Who you are**:

- You hold a Master’s degree in business or a technical / chemical field or equivalent working experience / educational background
- You already demonstrated your experience in project management and have strong analytical decision-making skills
- You truly live constructive behaviors and recognize that your own development, as well as the development of your colleagues will ensure future success.
- You are able to lead virtual teams
- You have a specific knowledge and experience of strategic procurement, negotiations and supply chain related processes
- Your ability to engage across cultures and functions help you to be successful in a global and virtual environment.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
