About the Role
- You’ll work closely with experienced FPGA developers, Applications Engineers, SW developers, marketing team, and sales team to learn how complex signal chains, transceivers, and embedded systems come together in real-world designs. This is an excellent opportunity for students in their final year of a bachelor’s or master’s program who are passionate about FPGA design, DSP processing, problem-solving, and hands-on engineering.
- Key Responsibilities- Assist in the design and implementation of FPGA programs and features using HDL, IP cores, and embedded software.- Debug and troubleshoot FPGA designs and hardware under guidance from senior engineers.- Support lab evaluations and testing of new features and hardware platforms.- Prepare documentation, technical presentations, and demos for internal and customer-facing use.- Minimum Qualifications- Currently enrolled in the final year of a bachelor’s or master’s program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.- Hands-on coursework or project experience with FPGA or Embedded Systems programming.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Excellent communication and documentation skills.- Motivated learner with a collaborative mindset and an interest in cutting-edge technology.
- Preferred Qualifications- Prior internship or project experience with AMD-Xilinx and Altera FPGAs and tools (Vivado, Quartus).- Exposure to high-speed digital interfaces, Gigabit transceivers, or embedded software.- Familiarity with Verilog, VHDL, or SystemVerilog for digital design.- Experience working in a lab environment with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, or other test equipment.
- For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
