We are seeking a person who loves to dive deep into customer’s problems, assess opportunities and identify the best solutions that deliver great results.
As a Senior Product Manager you will own, discover and deliver on initiatives to transform one area of our Marketplace into a continuously scalable, customer-obsessed platform with best-in-class user experience and management capabilities.
You will understand product design and development, and manage business and technical requirements; become an ideas engine for new products and services; and execute on strategic transformational initiatives such as developing machine learning capabilities and building automated servicing channels.
You can be a visionaire while staying on top of tactical execution. And, as an individual contributor, you don’t mind rolling up your sleeves to get the job done.
You will also work closely with all areas and teams, like Growth, Marketing and Finance, and guide the stakeholders toward an objective.

**Main Objectives**
- Identify the customer's need and create a useful product that fulfills that need and solve customer and business problems
- Define and execute strategy for one or more Travelgate’s Marketplace product areas, aligned with business and operational goals

**Responsibilities**
- Have a deep knowledge of users and customers
- Know the business, the travel industry and the hotel and accommodation sector
- Identify and assess opportunities
- Ensure the product solution is both valuable and viable
- Define Product specification
- Lead both Product discovery and delivery activities
- Define long-term strategy and the short-term priorities of product(s)
- Identify and improve Customer Journey alongside with User Experience
- Gather data, opinions, and user feedback
- Select and measure success metrics according to main organization and product KPIs
- Use of metrics in all decision making processes

**Basic Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
- Working knowledge and understanding of complex platform as a service architecture
- Technical depth of knowledge to translate business and operational goals into technical goals, architectures, and solutions
- Technical, operational and leadership experience in an environment serving multiple customers
- Demonstrated understanding and experience of the techniques and methods of modern product discovery and product delivery
- 3+ year of experience owning product vision and strategy definition and execution
- 3+ years of experience in product management, with large-scale systems or other systems with complex business logic
- Demonstrated ability to figure out solutions to hard problems with many constraints, using sound judgment to assess risks, and to lay out your argument in a well-structured, data-informed, written narrative
- Proven ability to engage with engineers, designers, and company leaders in a constructive and collaborative relationship
- English B2+ (Upper-Intermediate or higher), both written and oral
- Spanish B2+ (Upper-Intermediate or higher), both written and oral

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Entrepreneurial drive, and comfortability in a fast paced environment and ambiguity
- Analytical with passion for understanding data and the “Why” behind it
- Experience in building products for Enterprises with a B2C approach, B2B Marketplace platforms, B2B Market Networks and/or 3rd party Applications Marketplace
- Effective communication skills and attention to detail
- Strategic problem solver, anticipating and overcoming potential issues
- Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and key partners, internally and externally
