**Adult Cystic Fibrosis Unit / Respiratory Infections / Pneumology Service**

The Adult Cystic Fibrosis Unit of the Vall d'Hebron University Hospital has been in operation since 1994 and currently manages more than 280 patients, which makes it the largest Adult CF Unit in Spain and one of the most experienced in the management of these patients. It is the only Spanish center, specialized in cystic fibrosis, which is part of the European Reference Network for Minor Respiratory Diseases (ERN Lung - CF). It is also accredited by the Clinical Trial Network - European Cystic Fibrosis Society (CTN - ECFS) from 2011. Bronchiectasis is another of our important areas of work. With Dr. Eva Polverino at the lead, the highest representative at European level, we participate in the Embarc registry as well as having multiple projects and clinical trials underway. Primary immunodeficiencies is another of our areas of work and study. We have the largest series of patients with this disease, which we share with a multidisciplinary team with whom we work together.

The work consists in the involvement in the different clinical research studies as well as in the different clinical trials carried out in the adult cystic fibrosis unit, in the bronchiectasis unit and the immudeficiencies unit.

**Education and qualifications**:
**Required**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine (MD).
- European specialization in pneumology (MIR or equivalent).
- Specific training in clinical trials and management in Cystic fibrosis, Bronqhiectasis, Immudeficiencies.

**Desired**:

- Fluency in Catalan, Spanish, English (business level).
- At least 2 years of experience working with Cystic fibrosis, Bronqhiectasis, Immudeficiencies.
- Ability to communicate with patients and capacity to work in a group setting.

**Main responsibilities and duties**:

- Coordinate / Manage clinical trials.
- Give support in/to investigation studies.
- Develop scientific research.
- Support to the research team.

**Labour conditions**:

- Part-time position: 20h/week.
- Starting date: immediate.
- Gross annual salary: 17.500,00 euros (Salary ranges are consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale).
- Contract**:Technical and scientific activities contract linked to the project activities.
