**The Role**:
We are thrilled to welcome a new **Water Design Engineer** to our team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, designing and overseeing water systems for residential, industrial and environmental projects.
**Your key responsibilities will include**:
- Develop detailed plans and models for water supply projects using AutoCAD.
- Participate in meetings with clients to discuss design progress, address client concerns, and communicate technical details to non-engineers.
- Create technical reports and design documents including calculations, materials and specifications
- Ensure each design has relevant technical approval in a timely manner and is approved for construction.
- Completion of Bills of quantities, design variations and costing in accordance with commercial and financial procedures.
**Requirements**:
- **Experience of designing water utility projects in a range of residential, commercial and multiple-occupancy settings.**:
- **Degree in Civil Engineering or similar.**:
- **High level of AutoCAD.**:
- Proficiency in Epanet.
- Ability to effectively understand and interpret complex engineering drawings.
- Excellent IT literacy with the ability to use MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook.
- **Strong proficiency in English, both verbal and written.**:
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
