**HQ Santander Consumer Finance is looking for a RETAIL RISK AUTO LENDING SR. ANALYST, based in our Madrid, Spain office.**

**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING**

As a **Retail Risk Auto Lending Sr Analyst **specialized in you will have the following responsibilities:

- Provide Support in Credit Risk management transformation in Local Units around Auto Lending according to the SCF Business needs: admission (promoting the usage of new data, decision model and portfolio oversight enhancement), customer management and Portfolio strategy growth.
- Participate in the definition of the risk management transformation targets for Auto Lending (data, credit programs, channels controls, etc.) and the roll out in Units.
- Prepare Retail Risk Forum Material including relevant issues for escalation with particular focus on Auto Financing products.
- Monitoring the Local execution of the credit risk management according to corporate criteria, operational models, and risk management.
- Perform Unit analysis and management integration with budgets/targets.
- Coordinate Corporate Policies implementation with particular focus on Auto Financing products.
- Identify strengths and weaknesses of units' capacities in his scope for retail portfolios management.
- Active Participation of Retail Risk in Global Projects with particular focus on Auto Financing products.

EXPERIENCE
- 5 years of experience in risk functions in Automotive consumer lending industries / Automotive new FinCos.
- Proven experience in Scorecards, Decision Models/Strategies (collateral analysis, risk point of sale management, and decision processes for Auto Financing products through different channels: OEMs, Dealers, digital lending, On-line Sales platforms, Portals, Banks’ cooperation, etc.).
- Experience dealing with transversal teams functions (Business / IT / etc)

EDUCATION
- Bachelor of Economics / Statistics / Mathematics / Sciences / Engineering required.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
- Portfolio Management activities interacting with central - local teams
- Project Management activities being able to support core central projects with capabilities to react effectively to potential goals / task changes.
- Risk Oversight activities being able to use / evaluate data analytics tools developing insightful analysis in order to challenge / support local teams risk decisions / strategies.
- Dealing with colleagues working in different countries being able to manage different approaches / capabilities.
- Accounting fundamentals
- Advanced level of Office Package required / Complementary skills in handling Data Analytics tools (PowerBI / QlikView / etc.) is preferred
- Native/Advanced level of English and Spanish level is required.
