The Network Security will be responsible of completing a thorough risk assessment, identifying vulnerabilities within a network, and creating firewalls rules, or configuring systems to enhance existing security features. They also create policies and procedures according with EDP’s group standards to defend network infrastructure in case of a cyberattack.

**Main accountabilities**:

- Analyze and recommend different sorts of architectural networking system, assessment of hardware and software related problem and resolve issues.
- Coordinate with internal and external customers on al high level security projects.
- Evaluate security process on processing units and facilitate growth.
- Provide technical support to enhance proper device controlling systems.
- Implement the security strategy in sphere of new networking fields.
- Provide engineering network services to ensure high graded customer service.
- Maintain and implement security strategy and standardization methods.
- Analyze all records and recommend solutions for client based networking security measures.
- Provide technical support to log aggregation set-up and assist in all response measures.
- Work and support the Global and local SOC.
- Prepare designs for improvement of network detection tools.
- Participate in configuration and management program to install updated security tools.
- Implement, configure and resolve networking and security issues at time of problem detection.
- Execute day-to-day operations tasks, troubleshooting, and hardware deployments
- Evaluate company projects to integrate them in the actual network/systems
- Document and execute production changes in environments with strict high-availability, security/compliance, and change management requirements
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Implement and support SD-WAN, Wi-Fi, NextGen Firewalls, Internet, LAN and cloud network operations
- Assist with the design and documentation of network functional requirements to facilitate the development of deliverables such as project based planning documents, scope documents and client services communication
- Ensuring compliance with objectives, organizational policies, procedures, and standards.
- Compiling project reports and informing management regarding problems.
- Operates service including event management, incident management, request fulfillment, access management, and problem management related with the projects

**Minimum qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 3+ years providing network engineering support
- Experience in design and implement radio microwave network solutions
- Solid networking foundation including routing, subnetting, VPN, packet filtering/firewalling,
- Understanding of ancillary network services such as RADIUS, TACACS, ISE, NTP, LDAP and DNS
- Experience configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Cisco ASA and in routed mode (failover configuration, complex NAT configuration, routing protocols, VLAN trunking, etc.)
- Previous experience of Checkpoint firewalls
- Experience deploying and troubleshooting various VPN configurations including remote access SSL VPN (Cisco), Site to Site IPSEC tunnels w/ IKEv2, GRE/GRE +IPSEC, etc.
- Identifying current and emerging technology issues including security trends, vulnerabilities and threats
- Threat intelligence
- Sourcing and implementing new security solutions to better protect EDPR’s organization
- The commercial acumen to provide cost-effective security solutions
- Hands-on experience configuring and maintaining SolarWinds
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Minimum three years Network security management experience including networking and interactions with customers.
