Channel Systems Engineer (Channel SEs) are responsible for providing pre-sales technical / functional support to partners and distributors with mínimal supervision. With a proven track record of successful partner sales support activity, the Channel Systems Engineer will present and articulate the capabilities and values of an Aruba Solution versus our competitors. Channel SEs work with Aruba’s Channel Managers to qualify and educate partners on the Aruba product ecosystem and enable partner SEs to successful position the Aruba portfolio. The Channel Systems Engineer must combine excellent sales ability, and consultative skills with a solid understanding of advanced and emerging technologies with an emphasis on secure wireless and Virtual Branch Networking. The Channel Systems Engineer will generally team with the Channel Managers to provide presentations and demonstrations.

In a typical day as** Aruba Channel Systems Engineer**, you would
- Provide training to Aruba’s channel partners within the African region
- Training will be a mix of sales and technical, and delivered through webinars, on-site classes at the channel partner’s facilities, roadshows, distributor events, at regional locations, and at channel events
- Work in conjunction with the rest of the Channel Enablement Team to maintain and revise existing webinars and training classes, and create new webinars and training classes as new products are released over time
- Support the rest of the channel team and the region as required for key reseller initiatives, product launches, strategic opportunities, etc
- Own and operate a lab to maintain skills, learn new features, products, OS updates
- Come up to speed quickly on new products and solutions

**_ About you:_**
- Bachelor's degree or higher degree will be preferred
- You have general networking knowledge, including routing, switching, VLANs, and VPN technology
- Experienced with various Microsoft Operating Systems, Microsoft Lync and mobile device operating systems, e.g. IOS, Android, Windows Mobile
- Certified Wireless Network Administrator (CWNA) certification is **a plus**
- Knowledged of WLANs, WLAN architectures, WLAN standards, and applicable security and authentication protocols and systems
- Ability to travel significantly - 50% or more at times.
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation and organizational skills
- Proven track record of working in an international environment
- Strong business acumen
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly
- Extremely high energy level
- Ability to teach in a classroom or auditorium environment
- Can work with mínimal supervision and is a self-starter
- Language skills**:French (native level)**, English
