**What are we looking for?**

Education and Technical Knowledge:

- STEM degree (Science, Technology, Engineering or Maths) or Business/Economics degree with a quantitative focus.
- Experience in areas related to financial markets.
- Knowledge of the functioning of financial markets and their regulation.
- Knowledge of valuation of financial products and risk metrics.
- The following knowledge or experience would be also valued:

- Master degree in Finance.
- Derivatives / Repurchase Agreements.
- Regulatory Capital for European Banks, especially for the Trading Book.
- Python or other programming skills.
- Advanced level in BBDD/Datio treatment.

Languages:

- English C1, CAE or equivalent.
- Spanish B2.

Soft Skills:

- Team player.
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong analytical skills.
- Willing to liaise with other departments and geographies in the normal course of business and for interdisciplinary
- working groups.

Collaborate with the Collaterals Trading Desk Manager in defining the strategy to manage the collateral assets and setting the work plan for monitoring and optimising the capital and liquidity consumption of the Global Markets (GM) unit.

About the job

As part of BBVA Global Markets Capital & Inventory Desk, you will be working along with:

- Trading Desks in collateral and liquidity management for the whole GM activity.
- Sales, Structuring and Management on GM return on capital and on the profitability and pricing for singular deals.
- Quants, Risk, Finance, Business Development and other stakeholders for related activities and projects.
