We remove all the hassle around finding a rental with no long-term contracts, moving/buying furniture, security deposits, broker fees, etc. giving choice and flexibility to allow people to live where and when they want.

We are a Barcelona based startup with offices in Madrid, Lisbon, Berlin and Paris and soon we will conquer some more cities across Europe

**Role |**:
A champion and role model of UKIO’s culture and values, the Junior People Operations will be responsible for executing a seamless experience throughout the entire employee lifecycle for our teams across Europe.

Reporting into the Senior People Operations, with close connections to senior stakeholders across all our markets, you’ll be the go-to person on the ground for all local leaders and employees. You will ensure an aligned and consistent approach to people operations across the business, delivering exceptional results against the People Team strategy.

**Responsibilities |**:

- Oversee all stages of the employee lifecycle for employees across multiple markets. Ensuring an engaging and consistent experience.
- Responsible for data accuracy in our people systems, ensuring timely administration and quality of local people data.
- Supporting the Senior People Operations with monthly payroll for Spain, ensuring accuracy and timely execution. You will be the point of contact for all payroll queries. Knowledge of other European countries' payroll will also be acceptable.
- Support leaders with all local employee relations issues to ensure compliance.
- Basic understanding of local HR legislation, to support the Senior People Operations on laboral matters.
- Manage and own the administration of our UKIO’s teams across europe.
- Onboarding process: Manage and execute all the administrative steps to enroll a new employee.
- Partnering with the People Team leadership and working collaboratively with the wider People team to deliver on key strategic projects.

**About you |**:

- 2 years experience in administrative roles
- Labor knowledge in Spanish legislation. Or knowledge in Portuguese, French, Germanic, British or other European countries.
- Reactive, employee-centric in your approach
- Excellent organization, prioritization & attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills; both written & verbal in English and Spanish. Any additional language will be a plus.
- Data-driven and logical in your thinking.
- Empathetic & a great listener who can demonstrate a good balance of emotional intelligence with pragmatic judgment.
- Tech-savvy and confident navigating around new systems independently
- Flexible, resilient and content with ambiguity and changes.
- Confident with working in cross-functional teams.
- Comfortable performing in a start-up environment.
