We are currently looking to hire a **Port Agent **for our Cruise division based in Barcelona.

Main functions:

- Port Agency services.
- The employee must be familiar with the idiosyncrasies of the different ports.
- Organization, preparation, and coordination of cruise calls: Actions such as preparation of proformas, berth reservations, questionnaires, procedures, protocols, monitoring and support for port calls in all ports (own offices, partners and sub-agents).
- Knowledge of management systems, both internal and client (cruise lines).
- Cost control.
- Support to crew and passenger services.
- Attendance at meetings with clients (cruise lines/cruise ships) and authorities (port, health, police, civil guard, customs, etc).
- Physical attention to the cruise ship in Barcelona and potentially in any other port if necessary.

**Requirements**:

- Ideally 2 years’ experience within the cruise industry on a similar role
- Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
- Highly detail-oriented and organize work style
- Able to work in a flexible manner
- Problem-solving skills
