Legal Junior Consultant (AML - Technical Unit)
**Job Description Summary**

**What You'll Be Doing**:

- ** AML & KYC Due Diligence**: In close collaboration with internal teams, you'll review and complete anti-money laundering and know-your-customer (KYC) checks on new and existing clients, counterparties, and suppliers, aligned with the Spanish AML Handbook and internal Compliance policies.
- ** Risk Escalation**: Manage high-risk AML/KYC cases by escalating them to the Legal Director and the Spanish AML internal control body.
- ** Compliance Screening**: Screen clients, counterparties, and vendors against compliance databases and resolve matches to help identify and mitigate regulatory, compliance, and reputational risks.
- ** Risk Assessment & Prevention**: Identify risk areas and help develop action plans for prevention.
- ** Policy Monitoring**: Support the review, supervision, and continuous improvement of the crime prevention model and Spanish AML Handbook.
- ** Legal Collaboration**: Work alongside the Legal Department on associated regulatory and compliance matters.

**What We're Looking For**:

- ** Education**: Law degree or a double degree in Law and Business Administration. A postgraduate degree or coursework in Compliance is a strong plus.
- ** Experience**: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience (e.g., KYC, AML, sanctions). Previous work in an international company is highly valued.
- ** Legal Knowledge**: Strong understanding of anti-money laundering laws and regulations.
- ** Languages & Tools**:

- Fluent English (C1 level required)
- Proficient in Excel
- ** Key Skills**:

- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to write clear reports, policies, and procedures
- Strong skills in analyzing and interpreting national and international legislation
- Team-oriented with initiative and proactivity
- Comfortable with public speaking
