Founded in 1882, Tottenham Hotspur Football Club is an English Premier League Club, based in North London.

The Club are looking to accelerate its delivery of the marketing technology roadmap and increase the levels of capability available to the Digital team and are therefore looking to appoint a Project Manager for 6 months.

Reporting into the Head of Growth & Digital Marketing, the Digital Marketing Project Manager will be responsible for delivering against the plan which will both deliver audience growth across our digital estate and bring to life our marketing use via our marketing technology, alongside our agencies, vendors, the Digital Product Team & the Business Systems Team.

The role will also be responsible for ensuring the commercial marketing & commercial teams, our key stakeholders, are fully included and have clear visibility of our digital capabilities and that these are aligned with their goals.

JOB PURPOSE:
The Digital & Growth Marketing Team manages Digital Platforms, Performance Marketing, CRM, Lifecycle Marketing and Analytics & Insight. The team works closely with the wider marketing team (Commercial Marketing & Brand and Creative) as well as Product, Technology, Partnerships, Commercial & Business Insights. We are focused on growth reach, engagement, known audiences & retention to help the Club meet its overall revenue and fan growth goals.

Our audiences are varied and located internationally as well as locally so understanding their behaviours and needs is key. Profiling, Intent, Personalisation and driving the next best action are central to success. At the center of this is our CDP, alongside market leading ESP, Personalisation, App Marketing, Data Warehouse and Analytics tools - all of which you will have significant experience with and be an expert user of.

Due to the nature of the industry, some out-of-office hours work may be required from time to time including evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- To deliver a defined roadmap of marketing use cases across a 6-month period, ensuring prioritisation of work across external partners and internal teams to ensure delivery.
- Prioritise & deliver a plan of activity to drive downloads & engagement for our official Club App
- Prioritise & deliver a plan of activity to increase the overall size of the Club database, including growth in opted in fans and those defined as engaged.
- Prioritise & deliver a plan of activity to increase traffic to our core websites and drive up levels of engagement & data capture.
- Review the implementation status of our CDP & associated data sources, producing recommendations on short-, medium
- and long-term requirements to maximise usage.
- Regularly review and report against our roadmap and being transparent on our successes and challenges as we go on this journey, including demonstrating ROI
- Throughout the project you will review our vendors & partners ensuring that we are leveraging these partnerships to the maximum potential

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

- Proven experience across a mix of online marketing, e-commerce, marketing technology and project management.
- Strong history, and clear examples of success, working with marketing technology and implementing change.
- Reporting to senior stakeholder groups and working closely with them to deliver their requirements.
- Experience scoping and creating specs for development work, then working with our range of agencies and technology partners to deliver.
- Commercially minded, making decisions based on tangible benefits that can be tracked.
- Strong Excel and numerical skills, comfortable with analysing large quantities of data and drawing out key actionable insights - the ‘so what?’.
- Comfortable building reports and analysing data from a myriad of sources to achieve success.
- You will live and breathe marketing technology and understand the importance and value of the CDP and data within. You’re an expert when it comes to understanding the potential of marketing tools and conveying this to non-technical audiences.
- You have a strong analytical mind and make good use of the abundance of data that exists in this space to drive your decisions, but you also are able to step out of the data to look at experiences from the eye of the receiver, to ensure the obvious is not lost.
- You’ll always ask the questions ‘why are we doing this?’ and ‘what do we want to achieve?’ when approached with a request, so that you can solve the fundamental problem rather than just put in a quick fix for the symptoms.
- A proactive self-starter with an ambitious spirit, able to work on multiple workstreams effectively and at pace, independently or collaboratively as required.
- Well-organised, logical, and efficient; process-driven with outstanding project management skills.

- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to positively engage and influence senior colleague
