What is the role?
An international organization is looking for a Finance Technology Lead to join its Finance team in Barcelona, Spain. What will I be doing?
- Act as Product Manager within the IT Finance platform, leading the tax squad
- Coordinate and support end-to-end tax-related initiatives across business and IT streams
- Manage VAT, e-invoicing, and e-reporting projects across multiple countries
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical implementations with business needs
- Drive cross-functional integration, especially with MM and SD tax-related processes
- Communicate clearly and consistently with senior business SMEs and technical teams
- Ensure alignment and successful delivery of digital finance solutions within global squads
What profile will I require?
- 10+ years of experience in SAP FICO, with strong functional expertise in Finance and Tax
- Solid understanding of S/4HANA is highly desirable
- Proven track record of delivering SAP projects across multinational environments
- Experience managing complex VAT and e-invoicing rollouts
- Ability to bridge business and IT, translating requirements into scalable solutions
- Comfortable with technical reviews and driving design decisions
- Strong leadership and communication skills; confident in managing cross-border teams
- Proactive mindset with a high level of accountability and delivery focus
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
