VIE CIB Real Estate Finance Iberia - Madrid, M/F

Your daily routine ?

You will work closely with the three members of the Real Estate Finance team in Madrid. The role will cover all aspects related to credit process, transactions or new business, as well as key support to wider operational needs of the team. More specifically, your will assist with research, analysis and evaluation of new credit proposals and producing clear summaries to enable decision-making. You will develop and update financial analysis for transactions and other business needs. You will review all asset materials to ensure total accuracy, work with the other parties in the transaction (sponsors, appraisers ) to gather data relevant to the asset. You will review documentation (leases, contracts ). You will undertake market research (survey market rents, inventory, new construction, comparable transactions ), review critical issue reports, newsletters, publications to stay current on specific and industry related issues and maintain an internal market database.

You will assist the RECM Credit Portfolio Management team in their tasks including covenant management, annual reviews and waivers requests, as the need arises. You will coordinate with back and middle office the smooth execution of all tasks. You will provide commercial and analytical support on key internal and external projects and initiatives, such as marketing materials, budget presentations for senior management, evolution of the business. You will assist the management in producing internal reporting and in day-to-day administrative tasks.

The working environment is important

You will be an integral part of the Real Estate Finance team, integrated within the broader Capital Markets team in the CIB Business of BNP Paribas Group in Madrid. The team is composed of four Real Estate Finance professionals : One executive director, one vice president, one associate and you will be our fourth member. You will work closely with the entire team and with a wide variety of professionals within BNP Paribas group. We are fully dedicated to the Iberian real estate market, focusing on:

- Corporate and non-recourse financings ;
- Strategic and sizeable transactions ;
- Almost all subsectors (Offices, Retail, Logistics and Industrials, Hotels ) ;
- In-place and development projects ;
- Coverage of Spain and Portugal.

The position is based in Madrid, Spain, at Emilio Vargas office. Our offices are bright and well equipped with all the facilities required including cafeteria. Also, it is easy to commute form different areas, and we also provide a bus shuttle from 2 different locations in Madrid.

Are you our next VIE ?

You hold a master degree majoring in finance and you have gained experience (internships and work-study program included) in Real Estate, Equity Investment or Financing, M&A, Leveraged Finance, Project Finance.

You have a solid risk and real estate knowledge, a solid professional & educational background in asset financing, leveraged & acquisition financing, structured credits.

You speak fluent Spanish, English and French.

You have a very good command of MS Office.

You demonstrate rigor and the ability to deliver. Your proactivity as well as your ability to synthetize and your ability to adapt will be assets to progress on this mission.
