**Description**
- Carry out service installation, commissioning, maintenance, repair work and other service-related activities on medium and large power transformers.
- Exceeding customer expectations by understanding and anticipating current and potential needs.
- Uses a great deal of analytical skills and makes decisions on complex and technical issues.
- Perform tasks requiring the ability to read and work from applicable electrical and mechanical drawings, and/or instruction and technical manuals.
- Uses computers and internal/external computer software to set up functions, enter data or process information related to site visits.
- Perform applicable internal work such as bushing connections, lead clearance, tapping, crimping, taping, contoured joints, etc.
- Suggesting product and process improvements within the business to enhance operations and customer service.
- Ensure all site work is performed to meet proper safety requirements.

- Repair, re-gasket, assemble and disassemble equipment as directed. With direction, perform activities requiring use of all applicable mechanical hand tools.
- Participates in department administrative tasks.
- Follows scheduling and administrative procedures.
- Participates in technical training.
- Prepare technical reports following site work.
- With Direction Operate and maintain Vacuum Oil Processors (VOP’s) and oil handling equipment. Complete vacuum oil processing logs.
- Have a strong understanding of the theory of operation and construction of transformers.
