Site Steel Erector

**Job Description: Steel Erector**:
We are seeking a skilled Steel Erector to work on framework and structural steel installations within a food oil refinery environment. The role includes erecting structural steel, gantries, walkways, and stairways, as well as assembling associated framework around large vessels.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Read and interpret technical engineering drawings and instructions.
- Perform rigging operations, ideally with experience in using chain blocks for removing and fitting new components.
- Float in new equipment, utilizing existing runway beams and managing temporary access holes in walls.
- Report any issues or snagging problems to the Site Supervisor.
- Maintain professionalism while working on-site at client premises, representing the company positively.
- Certification in steel erecting and/or rigging.
- Site safety passport.
- Experience in heavy industry, particularly refineries.
- Strong communication skills with a keen focus on health, safety, and quality standards.
- Ability to travel or be within commuting distance.
