Plant Cost Analyst

**The location of the role is in: Oviedo**

**About the job**

As part of our European Financial Planning & Analysis Operations team, you will actively contribute to the competitiveness and transparency of our growing refractory plant network. Through extensive onboarding, you will meet and learn from your team leads and get to know the refractory production business. In addition, you will quickly build on your SAP know-how, focusing on SAP CO costing. Together with the Senior Plant FP&A Business Partners (BPs) you will perform accurate cost calculation of both raw material and finished goods, cost center planning and deviation analysis. Our RACI (responsibility matrix) outlines the collaboration between all our team members, and regular team meetings encourage continuous knowledge sharing and learning.

**In addition, your tasks will include**
- Supporting month-end closing process for European production plants
- Preparing actual and forecast variance overview for Senior Plant FP&A BPs
- Administering and validating SAP master data, e.g. materials
- Taking ownership of certain cost-run activities for European SAP entities

**What we expect from you in terms of**

**Education & Skills**
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, Controlling, Audit, Risk Management or similar
- Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel), SAP R/3, BI Analytic Tools

**Languages**
- English - Proficient/Fluent
- Intermediate German or French will be considered an asset

**Work Experience**
- A couple of years of relevant professional experience
