QA Engineer

**Job Summary**

The QA Engineer will drive best practice test planning and execution through automation.

**Job responsibilities**
- Create and maintain detailed, structured test plans for new software products and new features
- Organize and execute test plans, documenting results, and tracking execution metrics
- Execute exploratory and regression tests to ensure continued product quality.

**Technical Expertise Requirements**
- Understanding of full software development lifecycle and agile procedures
- Experience documenting a detailed test plan and test scenarios for software requirements
- Hands-on experiencing designing and implementing automated test scripts using latest automated testing tools, such as Playwright (NodeJS) for UI testing and Postman for API testing or similar tools.
- Experience integrating automated tests scripts with software CI/CD pipelines

**Soft-Skill Requirements**
- Teamwork-oriented and able to collaborate with a scrum team within an agile development process
- Strong communication skills to guide developers in best QA methodologies and procedures
- Strong desire to learn to stay up to date with latest testing technologies and procedures

QA Engineers should take responsibility for the quality of their software which they help to manage, prioritizing work to meet deadline expectations and achieve goals, and be self-driven to identify and resolve quality issues or gaps in testing.

**Education**

College degree in a related field or applicable work experience.
