As the Senior Technical Project Manager, you sit at the center of how we deliver meaningful impact to the business. You bring clarity, structure, and alignment to a team of talented engineers who thrive on solving complex problems. In this role, you ensure that priorities are well-defined, communication flows seamlessly across stakeholders, and projects move from concept to delivery with focus and precision.
**What to expect**:
- **Evaluate and Improve Processes**: Assess current Engineering and Product workflows, then design and implement scalable, efficient practices.
- **Customize Agile Practices**: Shape a version of Agile tailored to our team, beyond sprints, streamlining cycles and boosting velocity.
- **Drive Cross-Functional Delivery**: Partner with Engineering, Product, and Marketing to plan, execute, and launch complex, feature-complete projects.
- **Turn Technical Detail into Action**: Collaborate with tech leads to create realistic project plans, delivery milestones, and execution timelines.
- **Measure and Optimize Success**: Use DORA metrics to track delivery speed, stability, and overall engineering effectiveness.
- **Align and Engage Stakeholders**: Communicate priorities, progress, and expectations clearly across teams and leadership.
- **Spot and Resolve Risks Early**: Identify dependencies and challenges before they escalate, ensuring smooth project delivery.
- **Champion Best Practices**: Embed compliance, transparency, and continuous improvement into how we deliver.
**What you bring**:
- **Project Management Experience**: 5+ years leading technical projects or programs in software development.
- **Feature Delivery in Product Teams**: Proven success delivering customer-facing features in fast-paced environments while working directly within product development teams.
- **Effective Communication and Collaboration**: Skilled at handling conflict, keeping teams aligned, and communicating with empathy and clarity.
- **Technical Skills**: Able to test new features, debug problems, and write clear, actionable reports and issues for engineers.
- **Process Design and Scaling**: Experienced in building and scaling workflows that improve efficiency, coordination, and delivery across diverse technical teams.
- **Compliance and Security Awareness**: Familiar with standards like ISO 27001, SOC 2, and data privacy regulations including GDPR and CCPA.
- **Multi-Project Management**: Capable of juggling multiple initiatives, simplifying complexity, and keeping stakeholders informed and aligned.
**Bonus Points for**:
- PaaS or similar industry experience
- PMP or other similar project management qualifications
