Business Controller

Reporting to the Group Financial Planning & Reporting Director, your responsibilities and duties will be:

- ** Lead Financial Planning and Analysis**: Spearhead the development and execution of comprehensive financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting strategies. Analyze financial performance, providing actionable insights to guide the company's strategic direction.
- **Ensure Reporting Accuracy and Compliance**: Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, maintaining the integrity of the company's financial standing.
- **Support Business Strategy Initiatives**: Act as a key financial advisor, collaborating with various departments to assess the financial implications of business decisions. Provide strategic recommendations to optimize financial performance and growth.
- **Drive Cost Control and Efficiency**: Identify and implement cost-saving measures and efficiency improvements. Champion profitability by optimizing operational and financial processes.
- **Manage Risk and Safeguard Assets**: Develop and enforce risk management strategies to mitigate financial risks. Ensure robust internal controls are in place to protect the company’s assets.
- **Optimize Internal Financial Processes**: Continuously evaluate and enhance financial processes and internal controls for maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
- **Provide Leadership and Team Development**:Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing financial team. Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and excellence in financial management.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or similar discipline.
- Mínimum 5 years of experience working as business controller
- Excellent command of English, both written and oral.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Understanding of accounting functions and terminology.
- Strong analytical and business skills and demonstrated problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and abilities to work in a team.
- Team spirit oriented, committed, and responsible.
- Ability to quickly absorb and understand business processes.
- Able to work independently and to insure deadlines.
- Used to working with deadlines
