Summary:
We are looking for a Data Architect to lead client Pointillist data integration projects. Our data integration process is personalized, efficient, and agile. Our team goes beyond simply ingesting data. It is about becoming an extension of our customer’s business—closely understanding their challenges and aspirations, as you work together with their data SMEs and business owners to make data and business value recommendations. Internally, you will collaborate with different teams and across departments interacting with DevOps, Engineering, Product, Sales and Marketing.
Key Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities for this role include (but are not limited to)- Defining the Data Integration plan for projects, leading a team of data engineers to support client data needs from onboarding through renewal- Partnering closely with other cross-functional team members to continue to improve data integration processes and tools- Clearly communicating project statuses, risks, blockers to stakeholders both internal and external- Growing and develop your team as we deliver at greater scale- Being accountable for a data integration design that supports client needs and adheres to best practices and system limitations- Improving our processes and tools to improve the process to ingest massive data volumes into the Pointillist platform
Minimum Requirements:
- 7+ year work experience, in a technical, professional services role; note that while this is a technical role, it is not a big-data pipeline design or development position- Success leading client-facing, technical implementation teams- Excellent communication, delegation, and time-management skills- Experience with understanding and consuming complex time series, event-based data is a plus- Professional experience working with Unix/Linux, databases, and Python- Bachelor’s degree in a related major: Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, mathematics, or other relevant experience
