Data Governance Platform Engineer

NN Digital Hub is a subsidiary company of Nationale Nederlanden Group located in Madrid, Spain.
- Our main objective is to create, deliver and maintain insurance product management solutions, as service propositions to enable any agent (linked or direct), machine or company to create and sell insurance products in Europe in an automated way and real time.
- We deliver IT services and solutions for the different international Business Units from Nationale Nederlanden Group
- On this occasion, we offer an indefinite contract of Data Governance Platform Engineer position.

Join our Data Management Services team to enhance, implement and administer our company-wide data governance platforms: Databricks Unity Catalog and Collibra. Collaborate with team members to automate, optimize and manage these platforms. Your expertise will help scale our cloud environment and integrate new technologies. Bring your platform skills and professionalism to be a key player in our data-driven organisation.

What you are going to do- Manage and innovate the Databricks Unity Catalog and Collibra Data platforms used across the company within the focus area of Data Governance.- Facilitate the use of these platforms, providing support and maintaining communication with data engineers and other technical stakeholders, enabling them to create innovative data solutions and products with our Data Governance solutions.- Carry out Operations & Service Delivery including Change Management, Configuration Management, Life-cycle Management (LCM), and solving complex incidents and problems.- Ensure Security and Compliancy is maintained following the company policy requirements and procedures.- Pro-actively enhance the infrastructures availability and stability, which includes monitoring and reliability management tasks and develop and deploy automations through CI/CD pipelines on Azure Cloud.

Who you are- You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree and thinking level.- 3+ years of experience in IT and change projects.- Knowledge and skills on Azure Cloud infrastructure, systems and tools- Azure DevOps experience with setting-up pipelines.- Basic Knowledge on Data Management and Data Engineering.- Good command of spoken and written English.- Demonstrably developed problem-solving ability.- Collaboration skills and you are a good communicator- Experience in agile (Scrum) way of working.

Optional qualifications:
- Experience using Bash, Azure CLI, PowerShell, REST API and Terraform is an advantage.- Knowledge and skills regarding security and compliancy are an advantage.- Knowledge and skills on Databricks and / or Unity Catalog are an advantage.- Knowledge and skills on Collibra are an advantage.- Experience using AWS is an advantage.
