**Technician/Specialist in art and graphic design for**

**digital environments and corporate identity - UX expert**

**Communication Unit**

The Communication Unit forms part of the Communication, Corporate Strategy and Citizen Assistance Department of the

Vall d’Hebron Barcelona Hospital Campus and its main objective is to raise awareness of the research carried out at Vall

d'Hebron, in all its areas and all its forms. On one hand, it explains to society, through its web page, social media and the

media in general, the main scientific advances of its researchers, and the institution's milestones. It does so through press

releases and conferences, interviews, videos and communication campaigns, as well as written and audiovisual

informative material. On the other hand, it internally communicates the research, publications and activities of our

research personnel to the entire Campus, through internal communiques, the Internet and social media.

**JOB DESCRIPTION**

**Education and qualifications**:
**Required**:

- Studies on Fine Arts, Design or similar.
- Fluency in Catalan, Spanish, English (business level)

**Desired**:

- Specific/Additional training in UX field.

**Experience and knowledge**:
**Required**:

- At least 4 years of UX design experience, with a focus on service design and product development perspective
- Prior experience of at least 5 years in digital design, branding, multichannel and multimedia projects, offline

advertising and in digital environments.

- Essential previous experience in web and apps design.
- Knowledge: design tools (Adobe Package and sketch), digital environments management tools (WordPress

and/or Drupal, etc).
- Creative person, communicator, determined, intuitive, responsible, and with initiative.

**Desired**:

- 2 years of experience in the health sector.
- It will be positively considered to have worked in digital start-ups.

**Main responsibilities and duties**:

- Website, app, as well as digital and interactive environments´ design:
Implementation of the global UX strategy in product development.
Define and build common user and customer experience goals.
Product development and optimisation of the UX/CX experience: Identify the needs and make

proposals for the appropriate UX approaches that solve day-to-day problems, considering their
behaviours and expectations.
- Digital and offline graphic designer to participate in the design, marketing and communication strategy of the

Vall d'Hebron Campus.
- Design and production of social networking campaigns.
- Conceptualization and supervision of campaigns, graphic and digital pieces made by third parties.
- Coordination between customer, department of communication and agency, workflow planning, project tracking

and production.
- Budget management, coordination and monitoring.
