Civil Engineering Intern

**Duties and responsibilities**:

- Assist in the completion of construction projects by preparing engineering design and documents and confirming specifications
- Assist in the design of construction projects by studying project concept, architectural drawings, and models.Assist in preparation of engineering designs by collecting and studying reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photographs, and tests on soil composition, terrain, hydrological characteristics, an

- Assist in determining project costs by calculating labor, material, and related costs.Assist in the creation of feasibility studies by analyzing engineering design, conducting environmental impact studies, and assembling data.

**Qualifications**:

- Currently enrolled to receive Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; required
- 0-2 years of experience as a civil engineer, preferably with experience in site layout, stormwater, erosion control, utilities, and other infrastructure systems; required
- AutoCAD exposure; preferred
- Microstation, Civil3D, or SWMM exposure; preferred strong plus
- Bi-lingual / multi-lingual desired
- All new hires will be required to successfully complete and pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check in compliance with NIST 800-171

**Physical requirements**:
Sedentary for prolonged period of time, interact with clients, and travel occasionally.
