This Position reports to:
Finance Manager

**Your role and responsibilities**

Reporting to Local Controllers of Process Industries in Spain, you will provide support to the local controlling community, ensuring correct control and reporting of projects and financial statements. You will help to analyze financial impacts to ensure accuracy of main KPIs of the business.

You will be mainly accountable for:

- Being a valuable member of the Controlling team and actively support business monthly reporting process
- Monitoring projects and business development and proposing required adjustments (provisions and accruals) based on business knowledge
- Leading financial aspects in internal project review meetings
- Coordinating and following overdue resolution
- Warehouse analyzing and monitoring to support operational decision making
- Managing and closely monitoring cash-flow and Net Working Capital
- Analyzing evolution of order backlog and sales as well as variations in profitability
- Fulfilling financial information required by authorities and support in internal and external controls (SOX/auditors)
- Ensuring accuracy and control of reinvoicing of costs to other entities of the company.

The work model for the role is hybrid, closely coordinating with other team members in different locations.

**Qualifications for the role**
- Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance and Accounting
- 2-3 years of experience in a controlling or similar financial reporting role
- Located in Barcelona area with availability to travel up to 25% of the time to Bilbao
- Flexibility to adapt to tight group reporting calendar is required; used to work under pressure
- Have a critical mindset improving processes and giving value added to the business
- Ability to multitasking, with a proactive approach and good communication skills
- Experience in SAP; knowledge of SAP cloud solutions is a plus (S/4-Hana)
- Advanced level in excel is important. Power BI, other AI tools knowledge
- Advanced level in Spanish and English, both written and spoken
- Being used to a multinational environment is an advantage
