You will be joining the Regulatory team at Datamaran to support critical functions of the team, including assisting with regulatory research, analyzing regulations with the help of artificial intelligence (AI), performing data entry and implementing rigorous data quality checks, and generally supporting Datamaran’s regulatory database maintenance and enhancement.

You are passionate about the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) regulatory landscape and familiar with the sustainability reporting landscape globally. You have a legal or legal-related background, and you are familiar with diverse legal systems worldwide. You understand the policy-making process and are acquainted with the structure of hard laws and soft norms.

You will have the opportunity to learn about the synergies between law, ESG risk analysis, materiality analysis, and the use of technology. You will be joining an international network of super talented professionals from whom you will get full support and guidance while expected to be self-sufficient and autonomous. **You will**:
**Regulatory research (25%)**
- Research regulatory initiatives, national and international regulations, EU Directives, reporting frameworks, guidelines, and industry initiatives ESG related.
- Lead on the country and industry-specific research projects where coverage of policy initiatives is low or needs expansion.
- Research and assess the need for further initiative expansion, enhancement of policy sources, and policy-makers currently tracked

**Regulatory analysis & data entry (50%)**
- Perform regulatory analysis & data entry process (assisted by AI).
- Undertake QA/QC of data entry & analyses carried out by other members of the team.

**Datamaran’s regulatory database maintenance and enhancement (25%)**
- Support the review and management of Datamaran’s existing regulatory database, including updating proposed regulations, fixing dead links, reviewing policy-makers and duplicate initiatives, completing missing information, and retagging of initiatives.
