**About the role**:
DNV - Energy division is seeking a Junior Wind Resource Analyst to join our Energy Analytics Wind team in Spain. This role is to enhance capabilities and increase resources of the team which is responsible to support developers along the prospection, development and financing prior to the construction of the wind farm. Preconstruction energy production assessments are the main service we provide to developers, investors or lenders.

Key tasks:

- Analysis of wind and other climatic data
- Wind farm layout design
- Performing wind flow modeling
- Predicting wind farm energy production
- Inspecting sites and measurement equipment
- Writing technical reports and communicating results to clients
- Manage small or medium projects to ensure they are completed within timescale and budget
- Prepare and coordinate proposals of services.

**About you**:

- Master’s degree in engineering, physics, mathematics, or any other relevant engineering or science degree
- Proficient working with MS Office Word/Excel
- Strong overall computer skills and ability to learn multiple software tools required (Python, R)
- Fluency in Spanish and English (written and verbal)
- Valid driver’s license
- Experience in CFD wind flow model is a plus.
