To this end, we offer one position to join the team as an **Assembly Process Engineer.** **MAIN FUNCTIONS** The **Assembly Process Engineer** is responsible for the definition of cell assembly process of Basquevolt’s semi-solid proprietary Li-ion cells.The Engineer will work closely with the Process Engineering Manager & Director to accomplish the process defined targets. - Calibrate and validate an assembly line. - Perform post-fabrication assessments to validate the quality and reproducibility of the assembly. - Train new users on the line's various machines. - Participate in the expertise of the cells and suggest points of correction that can be applied to the line. - Participating in the selection and validation of new battery assembly machines. The **Assembly** **Process Engineer** should have experience in the development and manufacturing of lithium-ion battery, ideally within a corporate organization. Specifically, we will assess expertise in the following aspects: - Degree in Mechanical Engineering. - A minimum of 5 years of experience in Li-ion battery manufacturing. - Experience in battery products (LFP / NMC cathode, graphite anode, etc...). - Experience in battery/chemistry expertise. - Experience in mechanical piece assembly. - Experience in mechanical stress expertise. - Applicants should be fluent in English. Spanish or any other European language will be a plus. - Uses good problem-solving techniques to identify root cause. Implements actions to eliminate further occurrences.
