**About the Role**:
As Process & Safety Engineer at our Gavà site, you’ll play a critical role in optimizing production processes and ensuring the highest standards of safety and efficiency. This newly created position reflects our commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
You’ll lead safety initiatives, drive productivity enhancements, and collaborate across teams to identify and implement improvements. From HAZOPs and PHAs to root cause analysis and energy efficiency, your work will directly impact the competitiveness and sustainability of our operations.
**About You**:
You’re a proactive engineer with a strong foundation in chemical or process engineering and a passion for safety and continuous improvement. You thrive in a manufacturing environment and enjoy solving complex problems, leading cross-functional projects, and making data-driven decisions.
**You Will Also Bring**:
- A bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in process safety and productivity improvement in manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards (e.g., OSHA, PSM, ISO).
- Experience leading PHAs, RCAs, and implementing corrective actions.
- Familiarity with process simulation and data analysis tools (a plus).
- Proficiency in Spanish and English.
- Ability to lead Continuous Improvements initiatives and actively participate in manufacturing leadership.
- Budget management experience and understanding of GMP guidelines (ISO 22716/ISO22000).
