Central Functions support the board as well as the business in achieving its strategic objectives. These are, for example, Information Technology, Human Resources, Logistics, Compliance, Finance and many more.
For our innovative IT Logistics team we are seeking a skilled and experienced Solution Architect with functional and technical engineer capabilities in the areas of Logistics Execution (LE), Warehouse Management (WM/EWM), Transportation Management (TM), and Customs (GTS or equivalent) to join our team in Portugal, Slovakia, Spain or Romania. Tasks and responsibilities:

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze, design, and implement end-to-end SAP solutions in alignment with global supply chain strategies
- Lead the technical and functional design of new processes and enhancements, ensuring scalability, performance, as well as security
- Integrate SAP with 3rd party logistics tools and customs compliance platforms (e.g., AEB, MIC)
- Support and guide data migration, cutover, testing, and user training during rollouts or transformation projects
- Provide solution governance, ensuring compliance with best practices and global template; stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in logistics and customs transactions
- Work closely with internal and external developers, basis & security team, and integration teams to translate functional needs into technical specifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Supply Chain, or equivalent
- Minimum 8 years of SAP ECC experience with a strong focus on Logistics Execution (LE), Warehouse Management (WM), and Transportation Management (TM)
- Strong technical know-how in SAP ECC customizing, user exits, BAPIs, BAdIs, enhancement frameworks, and SAP integration (IDoc, RFC, CPI, etc.). First experience in SAP S/4HANA is highly preferable
- Deep functional understanding of customs processes, preferably with technical experience in SAP GTS or integrations with solutions like AEB, MIC
- Experience in end-to-end implementation and support of large-scale global SAP Supply Chain projects with excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively across business and technical teams
- Experience in Project Management methodologies such as Agile & Waterfall; SAP Activate and/or any Project Management training certificates are a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to translate business requirements into system design
- Proficiency in English
