**About the Role**:We are looking for a Senior SAP S/4 HANA Production Planning (SAP PP) and Quality Management (SAP QM) Expert (f/m/d) to join our SAP Center of Excellence in Europe with global reach supporting all divisions and regions.

This is a remote position, and you can work from your home office in most locations within Barcelona (Spain), Putzbrunn near Munich (Germany) or Livingston (UK).

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with internal clients (associates) to gather business requirements in Production Planning, Manufacturing and Quality management and propose the best SAP solution as per industry best practices
- Design, configure, and implement the SAP S/4 HANA PP and QM modules using the SAP Activate methodology
- Monitor connections and integrations between the SAP ERP and MES systems
- Leverage your hands on configuration knowledge to upskill others and teach standard, out of the box functionality to other team members
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance as part of an SAP CoE team, addressing issues, performing system updates, and ensuring system stability
- Conduct system testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing, to validate the functionality and performance of the solution
- Stay updated with the latest SAP releases, enhancements, and best practices to continuously improve SAP solutions and provide recommendations to clients

**Required Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 10 years working experience with SAP software and proven experience as an SAP S/4 HANA functional expert or consultant, specifically in Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM) areas
- Strong understanding of business processes within the Production Planning, Manufacturing and Quality management areas in the following industries: Discrete manufacturing, Consumer goods, Medical Devices, Chemicals
- Proficiency in configuring and customizing the SAP S/4 HANA PP & QM modules, including master data setup (Materials, BOM’s, Routings), materials requirements planning (MRP), manufacturing order processing, detailed production scheduling (PPDS) etc.
- Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into functional specifications and system configurations
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues within SAP Production Planning, Quality management and adjacent areas
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deliverables simultaneously
- Experience in large scale, complex SAP S/4 HANA implementations and sustainment (multi-region, multi-industry)
- Experience with MES interfaces to SAP ERP (SAP ME, Siemens OpCenter or the like)

**Desired Qualifications**:

- SAP certification in relevant modules, such as SAP Production Planning (PP), SAP Quality Management (QM), as well as Materials Management (MM) and SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) is highly desirable
- Ability to debug/ analyze code when needed and provide a solution approach
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams
