We are looking for an energetic, fast-thinking and dynamic Corporate Communications Manager to take on a multi-functional role in a newsroom environment within the Global Corporate Communications Department. As a key member of our team, you’ll help create, develop, implement and evaluate strategic communications initiatives to build and enhance the company's brand and corporate image among external and internal audiences.

**What your responsibilities will be**
- Media Relations: Establishing and furthering relationships with general, business and sector press to ensure Grifols’ leadership is correctly portrayed and positioned.
- Editorial Excellence: You’ll have to be an exceptional writer and copy editor, with a nuance for style, tone and vocabulary, adapting your prose to the situation, channel and audience. You might be drafting a press release one moment, followed by an article for employees, and then a social media post or a corporate narrative.
- Planning: Sound thinking captured in a handful of well-crafted and on-message slides will enable you to establish respected and successful communications strategies and tactics.
- Project Management: It’ll be important for you to establish realistic but ambitious workback schedules, achieving goals through close and efficient collaborations with colleagues in our different businesses and corporate functions.
- Teamwork: You’ll need to thrive in a flat non-hierarchical environment that puts a premium on integrated teams and cooperation.
- Tight Deadlines. Things move quickly at Grifols and work must be turned around with the same speed.

**Who you are**

- An excellent writer and editor, so a bachelor’s degree in journalism or a related field, plus relevant experience, is a must.
- Native Spanish.
- Proficient in English.
- A skilled writer and editor with the ability to create engaging, clear stories based on complex/technical topics.
- Someone with 4-6 years of experience in journalism or communications, ideally within the healthcare/pharma sectors.
- A standout project manager with an eye for detail and deadlines.
- Capable of taking topline instruction and then executing independently.
- Professional and team-oriented.
- Focused on results.
