You will be part of our team, full of talent and desire to innovate, where you will:

- Follow up detail design and development activities of evolutions of the Galileo Ground Control Segment in the areas of Ground Stations, antenna mechanics, Radio frequency (RF) and monitoring and control
- Follow up new upgrades of ground stations from engineering phases up to verification/validation.
- Support anomaly investigations and fixes of problems on the system and its interfaces.
- Provide, if necessary, training for the new upgrades on the ground stations to the remote sites, hosting entities and operators.

If you want this position to be yours, we would like you to have the following knowledge/experience:

- Good level of English written/spoken.
- Experience or academic knowledge in RF validation of Satcom subsytems.
- Experience or academic knowledge in integration of ground subsystems within space projects.
- Experience or academic knowledge in writing/running test procedures/specifications within space engineering projects. Experience in writing/verifying ICDs. Experience in requirements verification (i.e. using DOORS) and IV&V activities in space programmes.
- Experience or academic knowledge in providing support to project design reviews (i.e. PDR, CDR, TRR )

We will also value:

- Hands-on experience in use of RF measurement equipment, acceptance of ground stations, tracking systems.
- Knowledge of monitoring and control systems for ground stations/tracking subsytems.
- Experience of integration of Tracking Telecommand or mission payload reception antennas with a ground segment
