In Nationale-Nederlanden, multinational in the insurance industry, we seek to complete our workforce with an experienced UX & UI Expert to support our IT team.

The UX & UI Expert is responsible for the complete lifecycle from conceptual design, employee/customer research, and prototyping mockups through detailed designs and usability testing to final implementation.

**Responsibilities**:
- You collaborate with your team to ensure the products have a beautiful and efficient design, following the design system for BU’s in the 10 countries where NN International is active.- You develop new and creative approaches to the user interface design based on UX knowledge and design employee and customer -friendly processes.- Besides building integrations with the current backend, you will also ensure the local teams are involved in the process and will be able to further develop the integrations and provide support when you leave. Knowledge transfer is a key element of the projects.- Your team is supported by a “Company Navigator” with direct access to executive level to ensure you and your team can focus on building great products.- You provide input to design system, with a focus on reuse in other BU’s (via the Inner-source way of working).- Your experience with building high quality software forms the basis for collaboration with UX designers and engineers. You speak the same language when it comes to semver, git, pipelines, package management and unit
- and integration testing.- You are proud to show your strong portfolio demonstrating a range of tools and techniques for designing great UI/UX- Experience in working with Agile scrum teams- Very good knowledge of a range of web design tools- Ability to create, improve and use wire-frames, prototypes, style guides and user flows to effectively communicate your interaction ideas.- Customer oriented thinking and strong innovation skills and Expert knowledge of UI design principles, grid systems, and responsive design.- You have a high affinity for user behavior, aesthetics and design and implement them with enthusiasm on a software basis- Good reading and writing proficiency in English (an oral and written test will be carried out).
