Technician, Instrument & Electrical Systems duties include but not limited to:
Responsible for the systems maintenance on a government program focused on Automated Fuel Handling Equipment (AFHE) Maintenance Worldwide. Will provide maintenance support on assigned sites for the assigned systems, ensuring that all maintenance activities are accomplished on time and with the highest degree of quality. Will interact with the Maintenance Supervisor and Site representatives for the rapid identification and resolution of maintenance issues and the conduct of preventive maintenance activities. Additionally, this position will require the uploading of files and other data into a government owned database.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- 0-2 years of practical experience, to include Electronics repair, Maintenance, Integration, Fielding and checkout.
- Experience with Automated Tank Gauging (ATG), Independent Alarm Systems (IAS), Overfill Protection Equipment (OPE), Hydrant Fueling Automation Maintenance (HFAM) and other systems integrated to AFHE a plus.
- Previous work with NIWC Systems Center - Charleston or other government agencies in these areas a plus.
- Must possess strong computers skills. (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Formal electronics training from a Technical school, or a Class A or B military school in electronics or communications a plus.
- Must have good written and verbal communication skills.
- Customer service experience a plus.

Additional requirements:

- Active or previous security clearance preferred.
- Must be able to pass a NACLC security background check.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Travel required
- Preference for current possession of a government CAC card.
