Responsibilities*
- Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
- Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools
- Execute test cases (manual or automated) and identify, record, document thoroughly
- Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop effective strategies and test plans and identify system requirements
- Create logs to document testing phases and defects
- Assisting the CI/CD testing process
- Report bugs and errors to development teams and help troubleshoot issues
- Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing
- Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
- Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions
- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies

Requirements*
- At least 4 years proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role
- Experience in project management, tools, processes and QA methodology
- Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
- Working knowledge of test management software (e.g. qTest, Zephyr) and SQL
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
- BSc/BA/MS in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
- Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Hands-on experience with both white box/ black box testing and automated testing tools
- Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting
- Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus
- Strong Knowledge of Linux and Microsoft Windows
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
