Worldsensing’s technology has been pioneering the industrial IoT since 2008. We’re looking for a stand-out Marketing Intern to join the Marketing and Communications department in our Barcelona office.

Founded in 2008, Worldsensing works with more than 200 engineering partners worldwide to improve geotechnical, geospatial and structural monitoring in mining, construction, rail and civil infrastructure management.

With over 1,000 monitoring networks deployed worldwide and connecting over 65,000 sensors to the Internet of Things, our solution for monitoring large-scale infrastructure is the leader in the IoT remote monitoring space. We’re looking for an experienced, energetic Marketing Intern to support the team.

Reports to: Event & Digital Marketing Expert

Hybrid working environment

6 months contract
**The Mission**:The MARCOM intern will support the Event & Digital Marketing Expert to conduct trade shows and events around the globe. The intern will participate in the execution and promotion of online events such as webinars and will help with the company’s digital Marketing activities and Social Media presence.

**Activities/Responsibilities**:

- Managing the administrative tasks of registering and preparing trade shows, events and webinars.
- Supporting the event theme creation, invitation management and promotion.
- Helping with maintaining the team’s MARTECH stack and the company’s digital infrastructure including the website, blog and Social Media.
- Supporting digital marketing campaigns including SEO, SEM and media ads.

**Requirements**:

- Marketing and / or communications related university degree.
- Tech savvy, interest in event management, digital marketing, IIoT technology and civil engineering.
- A people person with a positive attitude, willing to learn, contribute and support a variety of different tasks.
- Someone who is eager to roll up their sleeves and enjoys giving and receiving feedback.
- A person with a can do mentally that enjoys being part of a diverse, international team.
- Competencies: (Optional) Organized, attention to detail, persistent, proactive, creative, good teammate, flexible, enthusiastic, openness to criticism. High proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
