As a **Systems Administrator** (**Linux/JBOSS/VMWare/AWS**) you will work as part of a highly technical team of professionals who support the day-to-day management and operations of Axisdata´s Systems as well collaborate in the Project tasks related with your technology expertise area. You will utilize your strong technical background and related experience to positively contribute to the department's goals and vision for advancing the IT infrastructure platform to the Group.
To be successful you will need a strong technical orientation, have excellent customer service skills, have a desire to advance in the field, be a creative problem solver and work well in a team-oriented environment.
**Key accountabilities of the role**
- Developing and Supporting Linux & Cloud platform in a medium enterprise environment.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, research and problem solving
- Collaborate to achieve Business projects goals related with his technology expertise.
- **Requirements**
- Experience in architecture, maintenance, and developing Linux
- Knowledge of cloud technologies and architecture
- Self-motivated, good communication, documentation and teamwork skills are a must.
- Intermediate English (spoken and written).
- Excellent Linux administration skills (RedHat, Oracle).
- Expert understanding of Linux integration concerns (Hardware, Networking, Storage, and Virtualization).
- Skill in scripting to automate and simplify day to day tasks (shell, python)
- Competent understanding of TCP/IP networking.
- Able to work effectively under deadlines in a changing environment.
- Terraform or other IaC knowledge.
**Desirable**
- Ansible or other Automation Tool experience.
- Kubernetes knowledge in administration and configuration.
- Experience in administration for Tomcat Apache, Jboss ESB server, all of them running under Linux environment.
- SAN/NAS/Storage solutions administration experience.
- Cloud Provider Certification strongly preferred.
- Service oriented / ITIL know-how.
