Our colleagues in the **Engineering team **are looking for a new **Junior** **Engineering Project Manager **for Valls Plant in Spain.
**Role Purpose**

Management of engineering projects to support the continuous deployment of capital investment in the Valls Plant

**HERE'S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING**
- The Job Holder is responsible to execute assigned Projects to meet or exceed all Cost, Schedule and Performance objectives.
- Use of Project Management knowledge and Process Project Workflow to support development of Project Managers.
- Drive the assigned Project Engineers to achieve Execution Project objective
- Integrate with internal Technical Team to achieve Valls objectives and goals.
- Holds the responsibility of safety and food safety in the assigned project.
- Leads by the example and promotes the commitment according to the policies in the management of projects.
- Develop and implement “Best Practices” for Project and Construction Management.
- Drive to practice state-of-the-art proven project management tools that will facilitate project management and execution
- Work with the Technical and the Operational Teams to resolve project management concerns and facilitate resolution of problems.
- Lead overall end-to-end project delivery including resources, CAPEX, schedule and vendor management.
- Conduct multiple weekly standing meetings with internal teams and vendors to plan and track deliverables.
- Evaluate and simplify current working procedures and improve organization team structure.
- Lead technical design reviews and propose design solutions.
- Lead a project team including Engineering Contractors.
- Manage projects of less than 0.5 million €
- Create, submit and track the relevant Capex documentation to ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within budget and best overall value.
- Deep dive on technical details and lead problem resolution on a need basis.
- Communicate project status, drive and elevate decision making and help requests.
- Lead critical path schedule items and escalate to leadership on potential risks and delays.
- Coordinate information between various teams in the organization.
- Own and develop technology innovations and solutions on a need basis.
- Work very closely with Operations and Maintenance teams from project start to end.
- Ability to understand Operational processes.
**YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS**
- Minimum 3 years’ experience managing Engineering Projects
- Technical leadership experience in development and projects.
- Strong level of ownership and motivation
- Excellent working knowledge using MS Excel, AutoCAD, MS Project and related soft.
- Fluent level of English
- Good knowledge of SAP and IPS
- Good knowledge of Industrial Hygienic design
- Technical Industrial Engineering Degree or equivalent
