National Sales Manager

As part of our growth strategy, we are looking for a dynamic, hands-on and experienced **National Sales Manager (m/w/d)**, based at **KWS Vegetables** in **Almeria, Spain**. In this role the Nationale Sales Manager (m/w/d) will develop and execute the sales strategy for the country for the fruity crops(tomato, pepper, melon, watermelon and cucumber). He/she will report to the Head of Global Sales & Marketing.

This position it’s **full-time** and **unlimited.**

**Job purpose**:
You are the face of KWS Vegetables for the outside world and will be responsible, together with your sales and development team, for the sales in your area. In this new role you can build something from scratch.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Managing Country Sales Team
- Making short & midterm planning Sales & Marketing
- Steering P&L process from Sales & Marketing perspective

**Your tasks**:

- You lead the country sales team.
- Develop and execute an annual sales strategy for Spain.
- Set sales, profitability, and market share goals together with the regional head of Sales & Marketing.
- Define sales rules, processes and procedures, take care of their compliance and for forecast accuracy.
- Develop and manage industry relations to effectively promote KWS Vegetables.

**Your profile**:

- A minimum of a B.S. degree in Agronomy.
- You are commercial, result orientated, self-organized and pro-active.
- Preferably 3-5 or more years’ experience in international seed industry, preferable in vegetables seeds.
- Fluent English in word and writing, additional language(s) are an advantage.
- Proven experience in managing sales and people, reaching set objectives.
- Willingness to travel internationally.
