Civil Engineer

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Project Planning and Execution**: Develop comprehensive project plans, oversee construction activities, and ensure projects are completed within specified timelines and budget constraints.
- **Construction Management**: Direct and coordinate construction activities, collaborating with contractors, subcontractors, and project stakeholders to ensure effective project execution.
- **Quality Assurance**: Implement and enforce quality control measures to guarantee that construction activities meet engineering standards and project specifications.
- **Safety Compliance**: Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations, fostering a culture of safety awareness and best practices on construction sites.
- **Contractor Coordination**: Collaborate closely with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain effective communication and resolve issues promptly.
- **Budget Management**: Monitor project budgets, control costs, and identify opportunities for cost optimization while maintaining project quality.
- **Regulatory Compliance**: Ensure compliance with local regulations, building codes, and environmental standards governing canal and port construction projects in Saudi Arabia.
- **Risk Management**: Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively address challenges during the construction process.
- **Progress Reporting**: Provide regular updates on project progress to stakeholders, including project timelines, budget status, and any significant developments.
- **Team Collaboration**: Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, surveyors, and other engineers, to achieve project objectives.

**Requirements**:

- **Bachelor's Degree**: In Civil Engineering or a related field.
- **Experience**: Proven experience in Construction Management, particularly in Civil Canal and Port Engineering projects (deseable)
- **Location**: Must be available and willing to work in Saudi Arabia.
- **Licenses and Certifications**: Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred. Any additional certifications related to construction management or Canal and Port Engineering are a plus.
- **Communication Skills**: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information effectively.
- **Problem-Solving**: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- **Computer Skills**: Proficiency in relevant software tools for project management, design, and analysis.
