The Energy Markets and Transactions Section delivers services at the forefront of energy transition covering Policies, Transactions and Energy Markets Analytics in South Europe, Middle East, Africa and Latin America (SEMELA).

The Energy Markets and Transactions Section is therefore seeking a Team Lead for Energy Markets Analytics (SEMELA).

The Team Lead Energy Markets Analytics (SEMELA) optimizes business operations and improves the long-term performance of the section Energy Markets and Transactions (SEMELA). They work closely on commercial opportunities to strengthen and expand business, including driving the doer/seller culture. They support service line activities and technical competence development within the section aligned with Energy Systems strategy.

The Team Lead Energy Markets Analytics (SEMELA) has a strong focus on delivery and utilization, gains efficiency within the team. They partner with Heads of Section, KAMs, MAMs and Segment Leads in delivering an excellent customer experience while stimulating collaboration within their team as well across the organization. Together with the Head of Section, they must ensure that they have the right number of staff with the right capabilities and strives for a high performing collaborative culture and exceptional employee experience.

Our work covers all phases, from identifying business opportunities to executing the projects and follow up.

The position is based in Spain.

We are currently seeking a Team Lead Energy Markets Analytics who is expected to:

- Be part of the Energy Markets and Transactions Section Leadership team
- Contribute and interact with Service Area and Practice Lead Networks
- Ensure completion of mandatory courses
- Plan broad competence development of interns
- Staff workload management and projects distribution
- Connect operational staff objectives to individual targets (MIPs)
- Optimize business performance through delivery management, cost-efficient business operations (project profitability), improvement of the utilization rate (chargeability) and an aligned workforce plan
- Empower employees and encourages employability and individual growth
- Support staff to provide proper WIP and Timesheets in due time
- Manage subcontractors with regards to the service line
- Interact with Finance group and follow-up on invoices
- Work closely and collaboratively with other Team Leads
- Ensure an efficient & consistent delivery of services in line with customer expectations (technical and deadlines).
- Deliver chargeability in projects

**Team Leader will support Head of Section in**:

- Understanding client’s needs and setting up and implementing solutions for technical and organizational challenges of our clients
- Providing overview about projects encountering challenges
- Discussing key proposals (clauses, assumptions, pricing strategy)
- Mapping key competences and ensuring competence development among the team to create a flexible workforce
- Providing insights on service line strategic views
- Providing analysis on projects financial figures compared to plan
- Building a strong internal culture based on company’s values

The Team Lead will report to the Head of Section, Energy Markets and Transactions (SEMELA).

Position Qualifications:

- Minimum a Bachelor Degree in appropriate discipline
- Working experience within the wider energy markets space
- Demonstrated business and market understanding; also excellent customer relationships
