Pepper Global Services was founded in 2000 as a specialist mortgage lender and loan servicer in Australia and the UK, Through a combination of organic growth and targeted acquisitions, PGS has become a global lending and servicing platform.

PGS is investing in the development of a loan servicing platform and broader eco system with the aspiration to provide the modular elements of the platform to internal and third party customers on a SaaS basis. The Test Engineer is a key new appointment to Project Horizon, who will work with the dedicated team to build the platform for both web and mobile access.

**Main Responsibilities**
- Design and automate web api tests using Postman
- Understand, analyse, and develop complex test data sets
- Working with Azure DevOps to ensure that an automated regression pack is built and is run as part of builds and deployments
- Design and implement automated tests and test environments
- Collaborate with developers, program management, and design teams on technical implementation and user scenarios
- Work with deployment teams to resolve issues in the system
- Define and propose tools, techniques and processes for automation testing of the platform
- Work as part of the Scrum team to analyse and estimate sprint items
- Keep abreast with Testing best practices and new trends

**Accountabilities**
- Ownership of the test suite for Project Horizon

- Good knowledge of mortgage and lending markets in both loan originations and servicing areas
- Good documentation skills both technical and operational/process mapping etc
- Ability to work in Agile frameworks but adaptable and confident enough not to be driven by process or methodology for its own sake
- Clear and demonstrable ability to identify problems and work with colleagues to find appropriate solutions collaboratively

**Skills**
- In-depth knowledge of Agile process and principles
- Strong coding, design, and analytic skills
- Proficiency in developing automated test systems
- Knowledge and experience of microservice architecture that modern back end is often built upon with its moving parts, dependencies, and interactions
- Understanding of the cloud infrastructure environment
- Self-Directed and able to manage and prioritise workload
- Knowledge and experience using Azure DevOps, Selenium, Karma, Jasmine, Postman
- Ability to clearly and effectively communicate designs and solutions to the various project stakeholders
- Able to multi task and work across multiple products
- Be open to receive feedback and constructive criticism to drive improvements and deliverables
- Strong team collaboration and experience working with remote teams
- Driving high-quality work products within expected timeframes and on budget
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to handle high pressure and fast paced situations
