Edi Channel Integration Engineer

**Position Summary**:
The Channel Implementation Technician works with one or more Product Managers to execute specific feature requirements and drive the completion of these features in product releases. This position involves close interaction with key internal and external customers, external partners, and the development team. Our SaaS solutions help power many of the premier online retailers throughout the world who sell through our Marketplaces solution on sites like Amazon, The Home Depot, Sam's Club, Overstock, and Costco and through our Digital Marketing solution on sites such as Google, Bing, Pinterest and more. This position provides the opportunity to help expand the reach of the ChannelAdvisor platform.

This role will become a strategic specialist in our supported channels. Through proactive monitoring of Dropship/Firstparty integrations, issues detected may lead to direct client communication, publicly displayed message board posts and alerts, working with 3rd party technical contacts, cooperatively working with multiple ChannelAdvisor teams, etc.

**Responsibilities**:
As a member of our team, you will have the following opportunities:

- You will be responsible for working in a team that is responsible for building and supporting our EDI integration processes
- You will spend time analyzing document specifications and mapping these to our proprietary EDI system
- You will serve as the technical project lead, working with multiple channels on EDI integrations
- You will also work with other internal teams to troubleshoot and make any necessary changes or adjustments to fix any issues found with an integration

**Requirements**:

- Fluent English skills (spoken & written)
- Trainee developer
- Knowledge of SQL (Beginner / Intermediate)
- Experience working with EDI (X12/EDIFACT)
- Experience working with communications B2B/B2C
- Experience working with mapping different file types (EDI, XML, JSON, yml, Flat File, etc.)
- Detail-oriented
- Bachelor's Degree or Certificate of Higher Education (grado medio, grado superior)
- Experience in writing technical papers
- Experience working with IBM Sterling Transformation Extender (ITX)
- Experience programming in C#,.NET, or JavaScript is a plus
- Experience working with distributed development teams spanning multiple offices and timezones
- Experience working in SCRUM or Agile Software development environment is a plus
- Experience working with software version control tools (Bitbucket/GitLab/Github) is a plus
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Energetic self-starter, entrepreneurial spirit
- Must enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic, and fluid environment, and be able to think strategically and independently.
- Experience with e-commerce, retail, and online marketplaces
