We are currently recruiting for a **Junior Engineer - Hydraulics & Drainage**. with experience in water modeling to join our busy and expanding experienced team. The team provides assessment, concept, feasibility, preliminary and detailed designs on a wide range of projects and environmental studies. Our clients are from the private and public sectors and include long term Framework Agreements with numerous Local Authorities. Our group has an established track record of successfully providing hydraulic designs and analysis throughout the US, UK and Australia, not to mention Canada or the Middle East. **The responsibilities of this role include**:

- Work is accomplished autonomously on small projects or portions of larger projects supported by EC within established procedures and practices related to hydraulics and drainage.
- Works on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple tests.
- Performs hydraulics and drainage engineering work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule with little supervision.
- Performs a self-check of work products prior to submitting to others and participates in quality control reviews of documentation originated by equally or less experienced staff.
- Prepares project deliverables that are reviewed by senior team members.
- Provides guidance to entry level engineers.

**Minimum Requirements**
- Proven track record of working on hydraulics and drainage designs and collaborating with international and multi-cultural teams (+4 years).
- Experience with international regulations and standards (i.e. AASTHO, AWWA, Australian Codes, British Standards etc.).
- Demonstrated proficiency in digital platforms as ArcGIS and CADD (Civil3D, MicroStation and/or OpenRoads)
- Proven commitment with Quality Control Policy and Quality Management System.
- Experience working in the North America region / Australia will be considered favorably.
- Fluent in English (oral and written).

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Bachelor or Master degree in Civil, Environ
