**The Role**
As a System Administrator at Kyndryl, you’ll solve complex problems and identify potential future issues across the spectrum of platforms and services. You’ll be at the forefront of new technology and modernization, working with some of our biggest clients - which means some of the biggest in the world.
There’s never a typical day as a System Administrator at Kyndryl, because no two projects are alike. You’ll be managing systems data for clients and providing day-to-day solutions and security compliance. You’ll oversee a queue of assignments and work directly with technicians, prioritizing tickets to deliver the best solutions to our clients.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Installation, cabling, and commissioning of mainframe and SAN-FICON equipment in the physical environment. Hardware management with HCM and HCD.
Installation, configuration, and administration of the z/OS operating system and all products listed on the z/OS operating system technology platform.
Installation, configuration, and administration of the z/OS products CICS, MQ-Series and zDVM.
Planning migrations of the zOS operating system and other critical products (Control-M, Netview, System Automation, EDITRAN, VPS, etc.)
System monitoring using RMF system monitoring tools and OMEGAMON, TEP, Omnibus, and Pandora products.
System programming in Cobol, REXX, Natural, JCL, C/C++, Clist, and assembler on z/OS operating systems.
Automation of operating system tasks with System Automation.
Contingency management with GDPS. High-availability systems and integration with open systems Solaris, Linux, and Windows.
RACF security. Vulnerability management, integration with LDAP and Active Directory. Cryptographic processors, RACF security certificates, and security key escrow.
Creation of sessions and configuration of communications and security for secure file sharing with EDITRAN with financial institutions, public administrations, companies, etc.
