Transform design ideas into real products at H&M Production. The direct point of contact for local suppliers in over 20 sourcing markets, we ensure that top quality products are made as sustainably and cost-effectively as possible.

We are looking for a Product Technologist based in Alicante for footwear production of H&M Group Brands (Arket, COS, &Other Stories)

As a Product Technologist you are responsible for educating and developing our suppliers in product quality, fit and technical risk assessment on our products.. Working on site with suppliers you are responsible for educating and developing our suppliers towards self-reliance in the product flow in connection to your assortment needs

Working closing with the necessary stakeholders your role is to ensure we deliver the best product aligned with our business idea.

You play a key role in contributing towards securing best product from a customer perspective. Working with the global/regional teams you are responsible for co-executing the market development plans and supplier / product strategy on your product categories.

Working with our suppliers and hand in hand with other relevant internal stakeholders you are responsible for driving/developing product development and production capability within quality, fit and consumption optimization

As a Product Technologist you have extensive technical and operational production knowledge. You have minimum 10 years of experience in footwear. Along with a very good level of knowledge and understanding in fit, grading, pattern construction, consumption, customer, material and cost, that you can rely on/ability to help grow and develop our business and supplier capability

Experience in a premium footwear brand is a plus

You have no obstacle to travel

Collaboration and teamwork are key, you should work hand in hand with Product Development teams and other stakeholders to co-execute the strategies and activities that are set.

You need to be a strong communicator, using these skills to manage and educate a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.

Business minded, you have good local market knowledge and the ability to seek out further opportunities that could strengthen our customer offer

You must have very good command of English as it is our business language

You act with a high level of professionalism at all times, while working daily as a role model towards our H&M values
