**Storage & SAN Infrastructure Specialist**

**We are seeking a**hands-on and detail-oriented Storage & SAN Infrastructure Specialist**to join our team. You will be responsible for the installation, configuration, administration, and support of enterprise storage systems and SAN infrastructure. This role requires deep technical expertise in storage provisioning, performance tuning, and troubleshooting across multi-vendor environments.**

**Key Responsibilities**

**Storage Systems Management**
- **Install, configure, and maintain SAN/NAS storage arrays for enterprise customers.**:

- **Perform LUN/volume provisioning, reclamation, and performance monitoring/tuning.**:

- **Manage storage systems from vendors such as**HP 3PAR, Primera, and NetApp (C-mode/7-mode)**.**

**SAN Fabric Administration**
- **Administer SAN fabric switches (Cisco/Brocade), including zoning, VSANs, FC-IP, ISL setup, and segmentation.**:

- **Monitor and manage SAN protocols**:FC, FCoE, NFS, CIFS, and NAS**.**:

- **Utilize CLI for advanced configuration and troubleshooting of storage and switches.**

**Monitoring & Optimization**
- **Monitor storage environments, respond to alerts, and ensure timely notifications.**:

- **Conduct capacity planning, usage reporting, and forecasting.**:

- **Analyze performance metrics and optimize storage array performance.**

**Cross-Platform Support**
- **Provide system/storage administration for**Windows, Linux, Solaris, and VMware**environments.**:

- **Collaborate with hardware vendors to resolve complex hardware issues.**:

- **Participate in 24x7 support rotations and handle escalations independently.**

**Process & Governance**
- **Prioritize incidents based on severity, impact, and urgency.**:

- **Follow ITIL practices and contribute to continuous improvement of procedures.**:

- **Identify risks and propose solutions for infrastructure issues.**:

- **Plan and execute maintenance activities and system updates.**

**Required Qualifications**
- **Proven experience in enterprise storage administration and SAN infrastructure.**:

- **Strong hands-on knowledge of**HP 3PAR, Primera, NetApp**, and SAN fabric switches (Cisco/Brocade).**:

- **Proficiency in**CLI-based management**of storage and switches.**:

- **Deep understanding of**SAN/NAS protocols**, multipathing, and performance tuning.**:

- **Experience supporting**multi-OS environments**(Windows, Linux, Solaris, VMware).**:

- **Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer-facing skills.**:

- **Ability to lead during incidents and manage escalations effectively.**:

- **Familiarity with**ITIL processes**and best practices
**Preferred Skills**
- **Experience in capacity planning and forecasting tools.**:

- **Exposure to enterprise backup and disaster recovery strategies.**:

- **Knowledge of automation tools for storage management.**:

- **Strong documentation and reporting skills.**
